I am coaching a team!
Go All-In on longform improv with host team Lavalier. Six teams play for a chance to win completely worthless prizes awarded by our esteemed panel of improv judges, followed by a performance by the judges themselves. Seven teams, six weeks, two hours of hilarious improv comedy. Nothing has been scripted or prepared in advance. It will all be made up before your very eyes!
Whimsy Lohan Does: FIZZ
Join iO house team Fizz for Chicago's most carbonated improv show. Wednesdays at 9 p.m., Fizz cracks open a high-octane, full-sugar set of one-night-only scenes, characters and stories with a special guest opener.
Plus: Each week one resident Fizzicist must complete their assigned task or be sentenced to a sip of the foul-flavored FIZZ CUP.

Clued In: Travel Can Be Murder
All aboard for a journey fraught with deception, intrigue, and hilarity in TRAVEL CAN BE MURDER: A Clued In Improvised Murder Mystery. Exclusively running at Second City’s UP Comedy Theatre, each fully-improvised show is inspired by the passages of Agatha Christie and other murder mystery greats. The audience’s journey starts by telling the cast where they’re headed and choosing the detective who will solve this totally made-up murder. Whether in transit or stopping over at more exotic locations, each mystery unfolds far from home as every character reveals they’re more closely related and nefarious than they initially seem… So come, join us for a night of thrilling and chilling adventure, Thursdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 4; October 15 – 31st, to discover a whole new meaning for “a once in a lifetime trip”. Tickets are only $30!

Celebrate 45 years of improvisational excellence with the Best of iO Improv. This show brings together two teams of our very best improvisers, each delivering a high energy, hilarious set in classic iO forms like the Living Room, Weirdass, Shotgun, and more.
Between sets, the show drops into The Dream, a surreal, mind bending journey through one day based on an interview with an audience member.
Fast, fearless, and funny, this is iO improvisation at its highest level.

No Grown Ups Allowed
Kids, are you tired of grown-ups constantly telling you what to do? When to wake up, when to do homework, even making you do chores?! Well, on Saturdays at the Second City, it’s the kids’ turn to run the world! In this high-energy and fast-paced sketch and improv show, kids give all the ideas and even get the chance to get onstage! *Grown-ups are absolutely allowed because kids can’t drive or pay for tickets (the Tooth Fairy has not kept up with the pace of inflation.)
